George Moraitis Adds More Than $119,000 in Contributions During Q2, Closing Out Quarter With More Than $360,000 Cash On Hand

July 5, 2025

Fort Lauderdale, FL – The George Moraitis for Congress Campaign has announced they raised more than $119,000 during the second quarter of the year, bringing the total raised to date to $379,403 with over $360,000 cash on hand. The campaign has had more than 330 individual donors contribute and continues to lead fundraising among the Republican field.

“I continue to be humbled by the amount of support our campaign is receiving from the voters in CD 23,” said Moraitis. “The voters we have talked to are ready for a voice in Washington that represents the needs of the district rather than the needs of special interest lobbyists and partisan progressive interests.”

Florida’s 23rd Congressional District has been highlighted as the most competitive race in Florida for Republicans next year and one of the top opportunities for the party nationwide to pick up an additional seat and further strengthen their majority in Congress. As someone who has dedicated his life to public service, George is the perfect candidate to take on the democrat incumbent and win this seat for Republicans in 2026.

A decorated military veteran, former State Representative, and trusted conservative leader, he officially launched his campaign for Florida’s 23rd Congressional District in March.

A lifelong resident of the district, George graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy and went on to serve honorably in the United States Navy before building a successful career in law. He is a devoted husband and father of two daughters, grounded in faith, family, and a deep commitment to his community. He proudly served the people of Broward and Palm Beach Counties in the Florida House of Representatives from 2010 to 2018.

George is known for delivering real results and finding common ground to get things done. Now, he’s running to bring that same leadership to Washington—ready to champion a bold, conservative agenda and stand up for the values that matter to Florida families
